Reading Article about Residents being Sued by Senior Housing Owners

Today I read an article in the Star Tribune by James Eli Schiffer.  This article was about Residents in a new senior hosing complex being sued because the developer of the complex has not payed his $25 million dollar loans.  The owners of the complex are trying to go after the developer for money but the  developer is now going bankrupt and can't pay the money.  The owners need the money so they decided to sue the residents living in the complex.  Now  around 50 people are being sued for over $100,000 and are at risk of losing their condos.  I believe that the residents should not be brought into this mess and the owners should find another way to come up with the $25 million.  I think the residents should keep their home and the developer should be put in jail due to unpaid loans.  I hope this issue can be resolved and the residents can keep their home.
