My Favorite quote from the book so far is when Loyd is talking to Codi and says, "If you want sweet dreams, you've got to live a sweet life (Pg.133)." This is my favorite quote because it explains Codi perfectly. All she can dream about is her ordinary life and Loyd is basically telling her that since she she doesn't have a very sweet life she doesn't have sweet dreams. Loyd believes that Codi doesn't have an ordinary life and should have sweet dreams.
My favorite character from the book so far is Loyd. He is my favorite because he tries to bring out a new life in Codi that no one else has. He gets her to love again, travel with good thoughts, and be open-minded. He does this by just talking to her. She hasn't had anyone to really talk to in a while and he believes thats all she needs. A new outlook on life and how she views it.
The most important scene of the book so far is when Doc Homer gets the call that Hallie has been Kidnapped. This is the most important scene because we know Codi will find out and go back into the same hole she was in at the beginning of the book. I have a good idea that she will become depressed and will return to her old, and ordinary life that she had before she came to Grace. She will once again be lost in the world that she calls life.
