Today I read an
article about a non-profit organization that provides a drug, alcohol, and violence free environment. This facility has a house for women called the Glory House and a house for men called the Resurrection House. These houses were established for men and women who are addicts and alcoholics who want to begin the process of recovering from their addictions. These people can also be living here because they lived an abusive lifestyle and they need help recovering from that. The dedicated staff that runs the organization has a lot of hope that these people can recover from their past and live a normal life. This organization bases its therapy and recovery on Biblical principles, A.A, and N.A. The staff rebuilds clients self-confidence and religion/spirituality to help boost them out of their old state-of-mind and into a better one.
