9/11 Heroes

Some people were born heroes and others become heroes, but no matter what, heroes are a good thing.  Especially when you talk about heroes of 9/11.  These men and women are heroes in some way because they helped save lives.  These people are heroes because of the action they took to save lives.

This video is a tribute to heroes, families, and victims of 9/11.  The song is made for 9/11 and sends a powerful message of why heroes are put on this earth.

This video is a remembrance to the day of 9/11.  It shows pictures of the planes hitting the buildings and the aftermath of this tragic event.  This is a link to an article all about 911 and its a direct link to an article I found that remembers all the heroes of that day and all the sad details. This article is all about the details of that day.  Including, how many people died, when the towers were hit, when they collapsed, ect. This is a poem about the Twin Towers and how they collapsed.  Towers of Life They stood hushed and glimmering in the night, Giants able to frame the moon, Slumbering magnificently in their might. Day breaks and the sun gently warms their skin, Veins begin to pulse with life, The sprit of a thousand of kin.

Evil tears towards them through the brilliant morning sky, Propelled by the blackest of hate, Guided by a lie. Barely risen they stand with no defense, Innocent and distracted they are not prepared, The pain about to be inflicted intense. Like a bolt of lighting that shatters the morn, Evil crashes once then twice into their sides, Their bodies are scorched and torn. Horribly crippled they continue to stand, Holding onto life until the last, Orders are given, they take the command. The battle is brief, the giants begin to yield, Life drains from every artery, Their fate is sealed. Collapsing to zero, First to one knee then to the next, From their dust will emerge so many a hero. The question is asked, How can such evil exist.

This is a picture of firefighters who risked their own lives to saved hundreds of lives and now they are remembering their fallen heroes.  All firefighters are heroes to me because without them we would have lost more lives on that day.  

This is a picture of the memorial plaque that was put up on ground zero to remember all the lives that were lost on 9/11.  All these people are heroes to me because in some way they have contributed to this world in a good way.  

Conclusion:

As I was researching heroes of 9/11 I realized that heroes were everyday men and women who decided to risk their lives to save others.  Some became heroes by running into the towers and saving trapped people, others saved peoples lives by giving them medical treatment, and others became heroes by providing a shoulder to cry on.  No matter how you do it, helping people in a time of grief and saddness always puts you in the hero column.
