My favorite book is called "Charlie and The Chocolate Factory." It is my favorite book because its about a poor kid who wins a golden ticket to visit a Chocolate Factory. During his visit he encounters weird candy and very small people called um-pa-loom-pas. At the end Charlie is the only child left in the Factory and Willie Wonka tells Charlie that he is giving him the factory. Charlie is overjoyed but when Willie Wonka tells him that he can never see his family again, Charlie refuses to live in the factory. They come to the conclusion that Charlie and his family can stay in the factory with Willie Wonka. I enjoyed this book a lot because I like the thought that I could one day live in a Factory filled with candy and sweets. Also I like that the kid with the least got the factory instead of rich kids that had everything in life. It taught me that I shouldn't take things for granite because there are people in the world with a lot less than me. I felt like that was the overall theme in the book which I enjoyed very much.

REID FRONNAY
I love Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, great, great book. LETS WATCH THE MOVIE TOGETHER SOON. Can't wait.
I haven't read the book. But saw the movie. The movie was good. Is the book better then the movie?
Yes, a book with class.
This was a great book! I was always so jealous that Charlie lived with his parents and both sets of grandparents. I mean, yeah, they were poor and they all slept in the same bed, but they were a really close family.
Did you see the new version of the movie with Johnny Depp? I loved it! I missed the music from the old Gene Wilder version, though. Which one was your favorite? I can't decide.
Btw, I'm Emily from the University of Minnesota. I'm excited to keep reading your blog!
